Commons is working to help preserve the environment,
provide information security, and protect personal information.

Preserving the Environment

In December of 2000, Commons established an Environmental Protection Committee.
This committee enforces the following:

  1. Fighting Global Warming – Conservation of electricity, not allowing employees to commute by car

  2. Setting up a recycling area within the office ? Goal is to use 100% recycled products

  3. Educating our employees

  4. Displaying / posting information about the environment

  5. Using ‘Green’ products (products that do not affect the environment)

Providing Security

In December of 2005, Commons created policies regarding information security
and promised our partners and clients to protect their information.
Security Policies:

  1. Protect the client’s information

  2. Protect our company’s information

  3. Created positions that will help organize and protect information security

  4. Educating our employees

  5. We take into account advances in technology and changes in society and update our practices accordingly

  6. Conduct periodic inspections within the company

  7. We abide by the law

Protecting Personal Information

In July of 2005, Commons was privileged in receiving the "privacy mark" from JIPDEC (Japan Information Processing Development Corporation), which represents our effort in protecting personal information.
Our policy is as follows:

  1. When creating advertisements and promotions, we do not ask for more information than is needed

  2. We are continually vigilant against information leaks

  3. We act quickly to resolve claims regarding personal information

  4. We take into account advances in technology and changes in society and update our practices accordingly

  5. We abide by the law
